Erielkina Pizarro Talks About Entertainment, Business, And Growth

Learning the Industry the Hard Way

Erielkina Pizarro didn’t enter entertainment chasing attention. Some of her earliest work came through Broadway cameos — the kind of roles where you learn by watching, listening, and staying out of the way. Later, she moved into acting opportunities, including work connected to The Hunting of Manuel Miranda for Ishmael Reed. Along the way, she continued doing extra work through casting, building experience piece by piece.

Staying Consistent in a Shifting Industry

For eight years, Erielkina has remained a member of the Union of Broadcast Entertainment. It’s not something she brags about, but it matters. In an industry where people come and go quickly, consistency becomes its own form of success. Showing up, staying professional, and staying available has kept her moving forward.

Owning Something of Her Own

Entertainment was never enough on its own. Erielkina wanted ownership. That led her to create Iris Kids Shop, a business built with long-term thinking in mind. Her goal is to eventually open a physical storefront — the IrisKidsShop— and connect her professional work with her brand so her efforts feed back into something lasting for her family.

Why Money Isn’t the End Goal

When Erielkina talks about success, she talks about people. If she reaches financial stability, her priority is helping those who struggle to afford food, clothing, or everyday necessities — especially during the holidays. Christmas, in particular, is something she holds close. Being able to give when others can’t is the version of success she believes in.

Work That Happens Off the Stage

Outside of entertainment and business, Erielkina works under the Department of Police as an active School Crossing Guard. It’s quiet, demanding work that requires consistency and responsibility. Every day, she shows up to help children get to school safely, without recognition or applause.

Continuing to Learn

Even with everything on her plate, Erielkina continues to invest in herself. She is currently a student at Barbazon and has previously trained with The Plitz Modeling Agency and La Crème Agency. Learning, for her, isn’t about image — it’s about staying ready.

Motherhood at the Center of It All

Above every role she holds, Erielkina is a mother of four. That responsibility shapes every decision she makes. Balancing work, school, business, and service isn’t easy, but she carries it because her children are watching. She wants them to see what commitment looks like.

The Words She Lives By

Her message to supporters is simple and unfiltered: believe in yourself, know your worth, and don’t quit just because life gets heavy. Struggle doesn’t mean failure. If you’re still standing, you’re still moving forward.
