Leonidas Gulaptis is not just another face on the screen; he’s a commanding presence reshaping the narrative of international stardom. An accomplished actor, writer, director, and producer, this Australian-born talent has become a global force in both indie and mainstream entertainment, capturing hearts and headlines with every role he takes on.

Audiences around the world were introduced to Gulaptis through the romantic comedy A Nice Girl Like You, which surged into Netflix’s Top 10 shortly after its release. His performance struck a chord with viewers, blending charm and depth in a way that has become a signature of his work.

But Leonidas’s career is not defined by a single role. With a passion for storytelling and an instinct for character, he has earned critical acclaim in a string of award-winning films. His standout performance in Gala & Godfrey earned him a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the Portsmouth Film Festival. In The Answer, he shared the screen with BAFTA nominee Victor Banerjee and went on to receive Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor nominations at festivals in Oklahoma and Berlin.

His versatility extends seamlessly into television, with appearances on Perception (TNT), Run the World (Starz), and the Hallmark production Sisterhood Inc. opposite Rachael Leigh Cook. Australian audiences will also recognize him from Underbelly, the country’s most successful crime drama, whose series premiere remains the most-watched in Australian TV history.

Beyond acting, Leonidas has made his mark as a creative powerhouse. He has hosted lifestyle segments for Australia’s Unseen TV, appeared in over two dozen commercials, and was the face of the first-ever men’s line from Danish fashion brand NU. His dynamic appeal translates effortlessly between camera lenses and audiences.

As a storyteller, Leonidas continues to evolve. He co-created the upcoming series Coffee Run and is currently working on a slate of exciting projects. His upcoming romantic comedy Small Potatoes pairs him with Emmy winner Blythe Danner and Amy Stiller. In the action-thriller The Florist, he stars opposite Dennis Quaid and Jean Reno, while Inhale/Exhale, a psychological thriller co-written and co-directed with his brother Jarrad Gulaptis, reflects his growing impact behind the camera as well. Filmed across Spain, Australia, and the US, the film is a testament to his international vision and commitment to emotional storytelling.

With every role, Leonidas Gulaptis is proving that authenticity, talent, and heart can still lead the way in an increasingly global entertainment industry. Whether on screen or behind it, his voice is one that resonates and he’s only just getting started.
